Kodak
Kodak approached Alban Shipping to manufacture wooden cases using specific design drawings. As this case was due for export, they needed to conform to ISPM15. Unable to manufacture the cases themselves they approached Alban Shipping for advice on packaging such a delicate piece of equipment.
Following an onsite meeting at Kodak to view the product and to discuss the packaging with their team we provided a quote for manufacturing and packing the equipment at Kodak’s site ready for shipping. As well as offering a packaging service we also introduced Alban Shipping to Kodak and provided a door to door quote for airfreight and insurance to the USA and return.
Our Solution
We talked our proposal over with Kodak who accepted it without revision and the manufacture began. The equipment was packed on site and shipped to the USA and after a short period, packed into its original crate and return back to Kodak UK within the agreed schedule.
